We believe history is a shared human narrative. Our digital portals are designed to be accessible to individuals of all abilities, adhering to the WCAG 2.1 level AA standards where feasible within our historical archival context.
2. Perceptual Tools
We implement ARIA roles, high-contrast color palettes (vintage though they may be), and scalable typography to ensure that Frisco’s stories can be read and experienced by assistive technologies.
3. Ongoing Archival Refinement
Preservation is our mission, and that includes preserving the usability of our site. If you encounter any barriers within our digital museum, please contact our curators for immediate assistance and refinement.
